1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse associates play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of products from receiving to shipment to our stores. This position offers an opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments with a focus on safety, organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise, maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and achieve operational goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues regarding product quality or safety.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
