Job Description
We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join the team at Aldi. This role involves efficiently selecting, receiving, and relocating merchandise in the warehouse to fulfill store orders and maintain a safe and organized workspace. As a Warehouse Associate, you will collaborate with peers and leadership to achieve warehouse goals, ensure product quality, and contribute to a positive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality and safety, taking independent action when necessary.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Capacity to lift and move up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
