Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our dedicated team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training to excel in your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide suggestions for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
- Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work collaboratively and conscientiously.
- Demonstrate positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
- Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise, bend, stand, reach, and operate equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
