1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking to hire a 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate handling of merchandise in our warehouse, preparing products for store deliveries, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as needed following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Keep the warehouse clean and meet safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities and support warehouse management goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Demonstrates concern for product quality, safety, and impact.
• Collaborates well with the team and maintains a positive attitude.
• Driven to achieve success by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Efficiently organizes and executes tasks in the warehouse environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise for deliveries and work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
