1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour based on shift differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments. You will collaborate with your team and warehouse leadership to ensure a smooth operation and contribute to achieving warehouse goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
