Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our customers. You will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills.
Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse cleaning and inventory activities.
- Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership for process improvement.
- Inspect products for quality and safety.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in various temperatures and physically demanding situations.
