Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. Our warehouse operations are vital in ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. As a part-time employee, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. A comprehensive training program equips you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, and operate powered industrial equipment.
