1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse environment includes both ambient and temperature-controlled areas with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and support warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
