1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, and we provide thorough training to ensure your success.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate with team members.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, and resilience.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Perform various physical tasks in warehouse environments.
