1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for various tasks, including selecting and receiving stock efficiently, organizing merchandise, cleaning the warehouse, and cooperating with peers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and stand for long periods.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
