1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour, depending on shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude towards challenges and change.
• Drives for success and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 45 pounds, standing, bending, and moving merchandise.
• Operating powered industrial equipment safely.
• Working in varying temperatures.
