1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Aldi is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team. Our warehouse operations are vital in ensuring products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing number of customers to enjoy. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Comprehensive training and safety programs will equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 for employment.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
