1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, your responsibilities will include selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, unloading, cleaning, inventory management, and collaborating with team members and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise effectively.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate with peers and leadership for effective operation.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, collaboration, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Ability to efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
