1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join ALDI as part of our warehouse team. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards. Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and follow warehouse procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Adapt positively to challenges, drive for success, and maintain efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
