1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming and outgoing stock to ensure stores are well supplied. Your responsibilities will include selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain communication with peers and supervisors.
• Assist in improving warehouse processes and achieving budget goals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies and apply them effectively.
• Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
