Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes. Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and follow warehouse procedures.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Interprets and applies company policies and procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
