Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment in preparation.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect product quality and safety compliance.
- Act independently within designated responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving warehouse goals set by management.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle up to 45 pounds of merchandise.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
