Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join ALDI's team. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. You will collaborate with your peers, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
