Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Warehouse Stocker for 1st Shift at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming stock and preparing merchandise for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
- Perform general warehouse cleaning duties to maintain safety and appearance standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments.
