Job Description
We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock promptly and accurately.
- Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Assist in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
- Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation adherence.
- Independently perform tasks within the assigned responsibilities.
- Support warehouse management in achieving goals.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret policies, perform basic arithmetic, and work independently or in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
- Engage in frequent movement and warehouse tasks.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
