1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse employees work less than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, supported by comprehensive training and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong communication and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Continuous movement and operation in various temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
