Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety. Your responsibilities include relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Organize and relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring strategic placement of items.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered equipment.
