1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi, a well-known retail company. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring operational efficiency and timely delivery to our stores.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate and organize merchandise in adherence to warehouse guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety protocols.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Works conscientiously, collaborates with the team, maintains a positive attitude, drives for success, and organizes work efficiently.
• Interprets company policies, communicates effectively, performs basic arithmetic, pays attention to detail, and works well independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and perform various physical tasks.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
