1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety, and assisting in inventory counts. You will collaborate with your peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure smooth operations and contribute to process improvements. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
