1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our fast-paced warehouse operations at Aldi. Our team plays a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to ensure our stores are well-stocked for our customers' satisfaction. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving comprehensive training to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to optimize processes.
• Inspect product quality and escalate issues as needed.
• Operate equipment safely and report any concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands

This role involves lifting items up to 45 pounds, frequent movement of merchandise, and working in various temperatures. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment is required.
