1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As a crucial part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock efficiently, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. If you are detail-oriented, able to work both independently and in a team environment, and can deliver excellent performance, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and comply with safety guidelines.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.
