Job Description
We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Full-Time Team Member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse operates effectively. This position offers competitive starting wages of up to $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on shift differentials.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
- Sort, load, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Contribute input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality and report any issues.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
- Follow warehouse procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
