Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the efficient operations of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment safely and follow established procedures.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Flexibility to work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
