1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Engage in various physical activities like bending, lifting, and walking.
• Work in different temperature environments.
