Job Description
Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler
Company: Aldi
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM start time
Schedules
- Schedule A1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off each week.
- Schedule A2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday off each week.
- Schedule B: Saturday and Sunday 2 out of every 3 weeks with 2 consecutive weekdays off.
- Schedule C: Saturday and Sunday every other weekend with 2 weekdays off.
- Schedule D: Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday off each week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
- Perform general cleaning duties, participate in warehouse inventory counts, and interact effectively with peers and suppliers.
- Provide input to improve processes, inspect product quality, and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Follow safety guidelines and report product quality issues.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Act conscientiously, collaborate with the team, demonstrate a positive attitude, drive for success, organize efficiently.
- Interpret and apply company policies, have excellent communication skills, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, stand, sit, walk, and operate equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
