Job Description
Aldi is currently looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team. This position offers a competitive salary starting at up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay) with an average of 30-35 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment, as well as unload incoming shipments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Demonstrate quality, product integrity, safety, and teamwork.
- Adapt positively to challenges and drive for success.
- Efficiently organize and execute tasks within ALDI standards.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, and basic arithmetic abilities.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse.
