2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in efficiently handling merchandise, preparing shipments, and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
