2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a competitive starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with peers and leadership for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality and safety, notifying management of any issues.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
