Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of merchandise and maintaining warehouse standards. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour based on shift and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budget goals.
- Inspect products for quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
- Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
- Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and compliance with standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds frequently.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Work in various temperature environments and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
