2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dedicated teams at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. As part of our warehouse operations, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to the success of our logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintaining cleanliness.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks accurately and within company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
