Job Description - 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member at Aldi
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership.
Shift Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Shift: 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM start time
- Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week
- Starting Wage: Up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and safety issues.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow ergonomic program and operate equipment safely.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
- Adapts positively to challenges and changes.
- Delivers excellent performance and efficiency.
- Interprets and applies company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle merchandise up to 45 pounds.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
