3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join Aldi's team. As a key member of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing personnel, and ensuring efficiency and compliance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
• Coordinate and supervise job activities of direct reports.
• Oversee receiving, selection, and shipping of products.
• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and improve operating results.
• Develop action plans for operational improvements.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Collaborate with other operational areas and communicate with managers.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety guidelines.
• Provide training, feedback, and coaching to warehouse personnel.
• Manage controllable expenses and inventory efficiently.
• Maintain a safe environment and equipment in working order.
• Address warehouse issues and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Lead regular meetings with warehouse associates.
• Recommend personnel decisions and support growth and collaboration in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and cold environments.
• Standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and walking in the warehouse.
• Lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds.
