Academic Instructor-PIV

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Academic Instructor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As an instructor, you will be responsible for conducting academic classes, helping students achieve educational goals, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, and documenting student progress. Additionally, you will be actively involved in curriculum development, student assessment, and maintaining a high standard of discipline and rapport within the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage academic classes.
• Help students achieve educational goals and obtain necessary certifications.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure student motivation.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and implement curriculum through Educational Learning Plans.
• Assess student performance and make recommendations for student awards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and teaching certification.
• Experience working with disadvantaged youth preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, standing, seeing, hearing, and speaking. Occasional walking, bending, stooping, and squatting. Seldom climbing, lifting 50 pounds, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, running, and driving.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment, occasionally works alone, predominantly interacts with team and other departments, reads and writes at a college level.
