Job Description

We are looking for an Academic Instructor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As an Academic Instructor, you will conduct and manage academic classes, help students achieve educational goals, and create a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include implementing curriculum, tracking student performance, maintaining classroom discipline, and fostering student-instructor rapport.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and teaching certification.
• Experience working with disadvantaged youth preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.

Physical Requirements

Frequently: Sitting, Standing, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking. Occasionally: Walking, Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Flexibility. Seldom: Climbing, Lifting 50 pounds, Carrying, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Running, Driving.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment. Occasionally works alone. 85% of time spent working and interacting with the team and other departments. Ability to read and write at a college level.
