Job Description

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is seeking a highly motivated and independently responsible Accountant to join our team. The individual should be a CPA candidate and have knowledge of general accounting principles. As an Accountant, you will work directly with the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist departments, and play a key role in developing, reviewing, and modifying accounting procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze fiscal reports.
  • Interpret and follow the Fiscal Control Act.
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in completing assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA candidate with up to two years of professional accounting experience.
  • Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
