Actuarial Analyst II (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Actuarial Analyst II to join our team at USAA. As an Actuarial Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in conducting actuarial analyses to support product development, pricing, and risk management. Responsibilities

• Acquire and apply knowledge of the business, products, and processes.
• Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing and valuation.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and make model adjustments.
• Maintain price levels to achieve profitability and competitive goals.
• Identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Resolve issues and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent actuarial/business/analytical experience.
• 2 years of actuarial/business/analytical experience + 3 CAS exams completed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and programming languages (Python, SQL, R, SAS).
• Experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Personal lines pricing knowledge and experience with pricing software.
• US military background is a plus.
