Actuarial Analyst Senior

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Actuarial Analyst Senior to join our team at USAA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and performing actuarial analyses to support the development of new products, project future results, and determine financial strength. You will utilize actuarial modeling software, maintain price levels, identify critical areas for monitoring, and ensure profitability and competitive goals are achieved. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.

Responsibilities

• Apply proficient knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.
• Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
• Identify sources of gain and loss by product and assumption.
• Test pricing assumptions and appropriate premiums for new products.
• Resolve issues, serve as a resource to team members, and adhere to program guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of actuarial/business/analytical experience + CAS exams and VEEs.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software package.
• Ability to effectively communicate insights and solutions to diverse audiences.
• US military experience a plus.
