Job Description
Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers, a leading outpatient treatment provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, is looking for a Full Time IOP, 2nd shift (12:30-8:30pm) Addiction Counselor/Therapist to join our dedicated team in Columbia, MD. Patient care is our top priority, and we are excited to welcome experienced professionals to our group. Responsibilities
- Provide case management services to support treatment outcomes.
- Offer therapy in IOP and continued care groups, and provide individual therapy when needed.
- Deliver educational presentations on behavioral health and recovery.
- Create patient-centered treatment plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with medical staff and the treatment team.
- Coordinate patient care with family members and referral sources.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records.
- Work evening hours from 12:30-8:30pm.
Requirements
Therapist I (Outpatient treatment)
- Hold licenses such as LGADC, LMSW, LGSW, or LGPC.
- Minimum of three years of counseling experience.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
Therapist II (Outpatient treatment)
- Hold licenses such as LCPC, LCSW-C, LICSW, LPC, LSATP, or LCADC.
- Minimum of three years of counseling experience.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
SUD Counselor
- Hold qualifications like ADT, CAC-AD, CAC-I, CAC-II, CSAC, or CSAC-AD.
- Minimum of five years of continuous sobriety for staff in recovery.
Special Requirements: If in recovery, a minimum of five years of continuous sobriety is necessary.
