Job Description
Kolmac, a leader in outpatient addiction treatment since 1973, is seeking dedicated Addiction Counselors/Therapists to join our team in Dover, DE starting in April 2024. As an Addiction Counselor/Therapist, you will provide vital support to individuals and families in need of addiction treatment services.
Responsibilities
- Provide case management services to facilitate positive treatment outcomes.
- Deliver therapy in group and individual settings, focusing on substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
- Create patient-centered treatment plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with medical staff and treatment teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct educational presentations on behavioral health and recovery.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant counseling license in the state of service provision.
- Minimum of three years of supervised counseling experience.
- Strong administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
Special Requirements
- Minimum of three years of continuous sobriety if in recovery from substance dependency.
