Job Description
We are looking for an Admissions Representative-RSW to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a local outreach program to secure an adequate number of referrals for Job Corps participation. You will conduct thorough applicant interviews, assess application materials, and provide essential information about the program to applicants. Additionally, you will establish and maintain positive relationships with center staff, conduct tours, and make presentations to community partners.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and adhere to Company Core Values and operating principles.
- Implement a local outreach program to achieve referral goals.
- Conduct in-depth applicant interviews.
- Review and assess application materials to determine applicant suitability.
- Provide accurate information about Job Corps and local labor market.
- Establish partnerships with community organizations for referrals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, or Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Job Corps or similar training programs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid State driver's license.
Physical Requirements
Frequent: Sitting, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking. Occasional: Standing, Walking, Bending, Stooping. Seldom: Climbing, Lifting 50 pounds, Carrying, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Running.
Environmental Demands
Ability to operate office equipment. Occasionally works alone. 85% of time spent working and interacting with team and other departments.
Compensation
$21.15 Hourly Wage
