Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Assistant Athletic Trainer to join Goucher College's sports medicine program. In this role, you will provide athletic training services to the intercollegiate athletic teams while assisting in the daily implementation of the sports medicine program. Your responsibilities will include providing coverage at practices and games, assisting with injury prevention and management, maintaining medical records, and supervising the athletic training room.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage to intercollegiate athletic teams during practices and games.
• Assist with the sports medicine program, including injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records, coordinate insurance claims, and manage athletic training room inventory.
• Supervise student workers and athletic training students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field (required).
• BOC certified, Maryland licensed (or eligible, required).
• 1 year of collegiate experience (preferred).

Pay Range

$41,851.00 - $49,237.00
