Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at the Emergency Department of Northwest Hospital, a leading health care provider in Maryland.
Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital receives over 60,000 patients annually, offering specialized care for cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure high-quality service in alignment with the hospital's mission and nursing department's philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour accountability for resource coordination to deliver quality patient care.
- Assess patient status and implement appropriate clinical interventions.
- Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to modify symptoms effectively.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent working knowledge.
- Bachelor's in Nursing; National Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Maryland RN License, American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification.
