Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in supervising store activities, ensuring operational efficiency, developing action plans, and fostering the growth of your team. You will be responsible for maintaining the store's performance and upholding company standards while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest strategies to maintain competitiveness.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed to minimize losses.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Prior retail experience with at least 3 years of progressive experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
