Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will support store operations, supervise daily activities, manage schedules, and implement action plans to enhance performance. Your focus will be on ensuring a positive customer experience, training and developing the team, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing action plans to improve operational results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain our position.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper product displays.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
