Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi, where you will play a crucial role in managing store operations, supervising activities, and fostering a growth-oriented team environment. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in ensuring overall store performance, identifying training needs, and implementing operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of store personnel.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older to be employed at Aldi.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and maintain equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in managing budgets and expenses.
